Artarmon Data Centre (Project EOS)

Project EOS refers to a proposed data centre that is currently being developed by Goodman located in Artarmon.    

The site provisions for: 

  • 80MVA power capacity 
  • 33 at-grade car parking spaces 
  • 2 loading docks 
  • 5 levels of technical data hall floor space  

Ason Group assisted Goodman in preparing a Transport Accessibility and Impact Assessment (TAIA) to accompany a State Significant Development Application (SSDA) for this development.

Our work included

  • Establish appropriate trip generation rates for data centres to be used for traffic assessment.
  • Future trip demand analysis based on trip generation rates from other data centres.
  • Parking demand forecasts to ensure sufficient parking is provided for a data centre type development.
  • Site Access Design Development to incorporate the trap designs into the site access arrangements whilst also allowing sufficient on-site queue capacity to avoid overflow onto the external network.
